MOTHER AND CHILD

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands."
Isaiah 49:15-16

Our Father in heaven, sovereign, creator of all things, all praise and love to You! Today I come to lift up to You every mother and child who will come across this path. I pray that You will draw them near You and come to know You and Your Word in a living and personal way. May Your blessing, protection, and provision be upon them. May You guide and strengthen them - binding them in one spirit and in one love for You. May we, as mothers persevere in caring, praying, and nurturing our children in Your ways that they may live this life to honor You. Make us the wife and mother that you want us to be. Thank You Lord Jesus for all the wonderful works that You have done and will continue to accomplish in our lives!

“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us, when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.”
Washington Irving (1783-1859)
